Ryan Gosling

My favorite works of his are the
movies “La La Land”, “Blade Runner 2049”, and “The Nice Guys”. They are all
wildly different films and show his wide range of acting capability. “La La
Land” is a harrowing movie about love, passion, and perseverance. For this
movie, Ryan Gosling had to learn how to play jazz piano from scratch. The pieces
he played were ridiculously complex, but he worked very hard and learned the
pieces so he would not need a hand double to play the piano. In “Blade Runner
2049”, he played a character in a dystopian future who exhibits all the characteristics
of a being human, without himself being human. The movie explores what it means
to be human and Ryan Gosling does an incredible job keeping the debate
introspective and realistic. “The Nice Guys”, however, is a hilarious movie
about a private eye who is terrible at his job, but somehow encounters a lot of
dumb luck. The movie is set in the 70s and talks about embezzlement and corrupt
institutions, but stays very lighthearted and ultimately is one of the funniest
films I’ve ever seen.
Before I read this, all I knew is that he was in La La Land and a lot of people think he's cute. I like how you described other sides of him. Your writing flows really well, and I like the layout of pictures. Nice job :)
ReplyDeleteIf you love Ryan Gosling, check out the director Nicholas Winding Refn. The two have done great work together and resulted in some of what I think are Goslings best performances. "Drive" is an absolute masterpiece; if you love Ryan Gosling you'd love Drive.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best! Very nice job describing his life and some of his best movies. Check out my blog as I'll be reviewing Blade Runner 2049 sometime in the future!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything really about any actor. So this really informed me while keeping interested. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI don't really care for information on actors but your writing made the information flow in a great way. Liked the post.
