Post Three Reflection

(I wanted to keep this separate from my post because I really like the way I put it together and thought a separate post for this was necessary) From these blogs I mostly learned how hard it is to narrow down an interest. It was really hard to choose just two actors, and I didn't even include an actress that I admire! Blogs are important because they are a fun and convenient creative outlet. My favorite blog I read was the life of Yamam because it was very sweet and inspired and I thought it was overall just cute and adoring, and it is also the one that got stuck in my head.

Donald Glover

Donald Glover has become a favorite of mine very quickly recently. He has an incredible range of talents that he seems to be fearless in exploring. I got to know him a while back in Community. He played Troy who was a really nerdy, funny, and childish (ha). The character was easily my favorite in the show and it was a great springboard to the rest of his career. He had a few spots on “Community” in which he would rap, but they were usually silly and abstract and meant to be comedic. “La Biblioteca” became a smash hit almost immediately.  Whether or not this inspired his career as a rapper, it definitely gave him more incentive to pursue a musical career. Ryan Gosling

While Ryan Gosling is VERY attractive, I’m not here to sound like a boy-crazy teen who’s hung up on his looks and suave. I want to talk about himself, his talent and the projects he has worked on that I personally really admire. He was born on November 12, 1980 in London, Ontario, Canada. His first big role he landed was “The Mickey Mouse Club” when he was thirteen. His role as a serious actor took off when he starred in the film “The Believer” where he played a Jewish neo-Nazi. He was nominated for many critical awards for his role, including an Independent Spirit Award. He was later nominated for an academy award for his role in “Half Nelson” (2006), and again for his role in “La La Land” (2016). He has supported the following charities: ENOUGH Project, Invisible Children, Mercy For Animals, ONE Campaign, PETA, SickKids Foundation, and the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, The Art of Elysium. Causes he is concerned with are AIDS & HIV, Animals, Cancer, Children, Creative Arts, H...
